A Great Day

Today it rained.

That in and of itself qualifies as a pretty good day.

And then my mother-in-law said we should go out to my favorite brewery.

Man, I feel bad for guys who don't like their mothers-in-law. My mother-in-law is cool. She likes beer.

Side Effects

Today I learned that my prescription migraine pills make my vertigo much much worse!

I grew up in Prescott, kinda.

I didn't know any of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, but I guess my brother went to high school with some of them.

I dunno what the hell else to say. Here's a link to Prescott Firefighter's Charities. And thank a firefighter today, why don'tcha.

And it's a small thing, but hey, if you could try and pronounce the name of the place they're from right, that wouldn't hurt. It's "Preskit". Like "Biscuit".

My thanks to them. My condolences to their friends and family.

That's it, I guess.

I am currently entertaining Internet Buddy Brentai.

I'll post a better post tomorrow.

Will make it light this evening as I've got company.

Slowly starting to feel better; might make it out to Comicon tomorrow. Meanwhile, asthma feels worse and I'm pretty hoarse. You win some, you lose some.

Music is the Best

I'm gonna level with you: it has been a very long day.

Everybody is fine. But I am very tired and can't muster the energy to dig up some bit of Zappa ephemera tonight.

But on the subject of music, I did just see McCoy Tyner and Joe Lovano tonight. It was amazing.

Another Bad Day

Wife's back in the ER. I'm sure she'll be fine but don't expect any other posts tonight.

I do have one I wrote yesterday that I might put up if I find myself with some downtime while sitting in the hospital. But don't count on it.
